Nicosia, (Lefkosia), the capital of Cyprus, one of the oldest cities in our part of the world, today is a sophisticated and cosmopolitan place in the Eastern Mediterranean, rich in history and culture and combines its historic past with the amenities of a modern city.
Inspired by the ancient history of this city, Ledra aimed to put its imput in the restoration of the cypriot culture and history through the preservation of its architecture and buildings. Since 2007 - 2019, Ledra was proudly involved in the refurbishment and management of a large private portfolio of properties situated exclusively within the walled city of Nicosia, namely Ledra Properties (www.ledraproperties.com).
Ledra was actively involved in the Strategy of the portfolio as well as the development procedure and all stages of the refurbishment works. Through extensive research, Ledra was always very selective on the conversion of use of each property, mostly with respect on the history of the property and the surrounding area. Luxury listed houses, flats, lofts, shops, offices, restaurants and clubs were but a few of the types of uses which these listed properties were converted to. Royal Hall also forms part of the Ledra Properties portfolio which was proudly converted. Royal Hall was one of the oldest Listed Theatres of Nicosia which has now been restored and converted to a multifunction venue hall.
Since September 2019, Ledra has extended its services to other private owners of such properties all over Cyprus and is proudly selling, renting, managing and refurbishing beautiful listed properties.
